If you are going to be driving a car into the city, please be advised that parking may be (and usually is) difficult. Be sure to check with your the place your are staying if they offer free parking. For safest options, off street (parking lot) parking is advised.
If there is not parking available at your place of stay, there is metered street parking and public parking lots available throughout the city. On average, parking at a meter costs $0.25 (USD) per 15 minutes with a 2 hour limit. Parking lots vary in prices.
